Cancellation Policy

At FLS we understand that things do not always go to plan and sometimes you may need to cancel your order. When dealing with cancellations we strive to achieve a balance between customer satisfaction and covering our costs, such as data suppliers, staff time and card processing fees.

Our cancellation policy for each service is detailed below.

Full Profile Applications (Tenants/Guarantors)

A Full Profile application may be cancelled within three working hours if the application is submitted by fax or email.  If the Full Profile is an online application and the tenant(s) have not yet completed their application then the application may be cancelled.  Cancelled applications will be subject to a £5 administration charge.  Alternatively, we can add a credit to your account valid for 90 days with no administration change.

If the application has been started and cancellation is within a reasonable period of time we may be able to reduce the charge to that of a credit check.  We reserve the right to use our discretion on a case by case basis.

Company Applications

Company applications have a response time of 1 working day.  We are able to cancel the application within three working hours of receipt of the request.  Cancellations will be subject to a £5 administration charge.

Credit Check & Insight Applications

We are unable to offer refunds or credits for cancelled Credit Check or Insight applications.  This is because the results are supplied instantly or work starts on the application as soon as it is received.  Our costs are instantly incurred and because of this no refunds can be applied.
